The AKM servo motor series are a series of DC brushless motors that perform electronic commutation through a servo amplifier. The series includes the AKM42E-ACC2R-00 motor as one of the members which is manufactured by Kollmorgen with the most capable interior for use within heavy duty industrial automation tasks. The motor has a permanent magnet of neodymiun-iron-boron material inside which gives it a dynamic operations profile. It comes with temperature sensor in its windings that allow it for extended operations without the risk of thermal overloads. The built-in resolver mechanism unlocks a consistent and durable performance from the motor which are required in the control and automation tasks within industry.
The AKM42E-ACC2R-00 motor is designed to give an output torque of 3.42 Nm with a 480 V rated voltage and has an intelligent performance profile due to the resolver feedback mechanism.
