To secure vertical loads during power loss, the motor incorporates a 24 V holding brake, which clamps the shaft whenever supply voltage is removed. Position data are generated by an integrated encoder that offers 2048 lines per revolution of native resolution; this pulse density lets the drive interpolate fine increments for smooth micro-positioning.
