The AKM41H-EKC2R-00 is a servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion tasks in industrial automation where accurate speed and torque control are required on packaging, material-handling, and assembly stations. The motor is designed to work with a matching drive so axis commands can be translated into controlled rotary motion with stable feedback response. In automated equipment, this supports indexing axes, feed systems, and transfer units that require repeatable starts, stops, and speed changes.
The motor includes a 24 V holding brake that applies mechanical restraint when power is removed, which helps prevent vertical or overhung loads from drifting. Power and feedback wiring are routed through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, which use keyed quarter-turn locking for compact connection points. Position feedback is provided by a resolver, an inductive device that reports rotor position and continues to operate reliably under vibration and temperature variation.
