This permanent-magnet servo motor is built for closed-loop speed and position control in automated machinery, enabling coordinated motion on packaging lines, handling robots, or indexing stations. Its 41-frame electromagnetic core pairs with a compact housing that fits tight machine compartments while still delivering the dynamic torque required for mid-range axes. By combining a resolver feedback path with optimized winding geometry, the unit gives drive amplifiers accurate electrical angle data and responsive acceleration.
The mechanical interface follows alternative flange variant G, allowing direct face mounting to standard metric gearboxes without adapter plates. An 84 mm frame diameter provides a balance between torque density and space constraints on medium-power machines. The magnetic stack is the shortest option, identified by rotor length index 1, so reflected inertia stays low during rapid start-stop duty cycles. Power and feedback cables lock to the housing through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, reducing installation time and preventing accidental misalignment. The motor is furnished without a brake, so stationary loads must be held by external clamping or drive torque.
Position sensing relies on a resolver with the mechanical outline coded as Size 10/15/21, and it is wound for two poles to supply sinusoidal reference and quadrature signals to the drive controller. The transducer is a single-turn inductive device, so absolute angle information repeats after one revolution, which suits rotary axes that return to a reference position at power-up. A smooth shaft output simplifies attachment to compression hubs and eliminates stress concentrations caused by a keyway. Shaft ingress protection is enhanced by a shaft seal, which helps prevent coolant or dust from entering the front bearing during continuous production. Internally, winding designation E aligns the coil impedance with standard servo drive bus voltages.
