The AKM41E-GNCN2-00 is an industrial synchronous motor designed by Kollmorgen to generate kinetic energy for industrial applications. The motor is designed according to the IP65 protection class and can maintain its optimum operation even when it is exposed to harsh environmental conditions. The AKM41E-GNCN2-00 industrial servo motor is also a permanent magnet excited device that maintains a low inertial during operation. This industrial servo motor is intended to be operated in combination with the AKD drive controller, the combination of the motor with the drive controller forms an automatization system suitable for industrial applications with high power requirements. Examples of applications compatible with this motor include industrial robots, machine tools, and transfer lines. Operators are required to confirm the compatibility of the motor with any industrial application before commissioning. The AKM41E-GNCN2-00 industrial motor is intended to be used at an ambient temperature that falls between 5 to about 40 degrees Celsius, also the maximum permissible operation height for the motor is 1000 meters above sea level. When the AKM41E-GNCN2-00 industrial motor is at a standstill, it requires an input current of about 2.05 amperes, at this current the motor also generates a standstill torque of about 2.02 Newton meters.
