Product Description:
The AKM41E-ANCNR-00 servo motor is manufactured by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes in industrial automation. This brushless model combines a compact frame with an electromagnetic design suited to precise torque and speed control. It can operate in packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment when paired with a compatible servo drive. Electronic commutation eliminates the mechanical wear associated with brushes and supports responsive operation during repetitive motion cycles.
The housing has a width of 84 mm, providing a compact profile for installations with limited space. An IEC flange with accuracy class N allows direct coupling to gearboxes or mechanical loads that use compatible IEC mounting patterns. Power and feedback are routed through two SpeedTec Ready connectors with quick-release bayonet locking, which simplifies cable attachment and removal. The motor is supplied without a brake, so static holding force must come from drive-applied torque or an external mechanical device. A smooth shaft supports clamping couplings, minimizes runout, and avoids the stress concentration associated with a keyway. The rotor has a length index of 1, balancing rotational inertia with dynamic response for controlled acceleration and deceleration. Thermal sensors, coating, and winding materials follow the standard configuration for this model.
Position information is generated by a resolver, which provides durable feedback across the motor’s operating speed range. The sensor supplies single-turn inductive feedback, giving the drive continuous information about rotor position during each mechanical revolution. Its two-pole configuration provides the electrical angle data required for commutation and closed-loop motion control. The feedback package uses the Size 10/15/21 form factor to fit the corresponding motor assembly and connection arrangement. The E winding designation establishes electrical characteristics suited to midrange outputs from compatible AKD drives. Its current constant, voltage constant, and thermal behavior allow the drive to regulate torque while monitoring motor loading during repeated operating cycles.
