The unit is supplied without a brake, so any power-off holding torque must be provided externally. Output power is delivered through a smooth shaft, which simplifies coupling where low backlash is required. The square housing uses a 70 mm frame dimension, allowing installation in IEC-sized mountings. Power and feedback share a single 1 i-tec Hybrid or SpeedTec Ready Hybrid connector, which reduces cable bulk and helps conserve cabinet space. Absolute position is delivered by single-turn inductive feedback, which avoids cycle counting and offers good resistance to shock.
