The AKM33H-ANCNDA-00 is a brushless synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended for automated packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and inspection stations. In these applications, it converts commanded current into tightly regulated torque, allowing axes to maintain precise speed and position under varying loads during repeated motion cycles.
This model is supplied without a brake, so holding force must be provided by the drive or an external clamp when power is removed. Two electrical terminations are provided as 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, and the keyed quarter-turn couplers help limit wiring errors during cable attachment. Rotor position and diagnostic data are carried through a digital EnDAT 2.1 encoder, eliminating the need for analog sine-cosine channels. The optical disc provides 512/2048 lines/rev, and interpolation in the drive supports fine resolution when correcting small position errors. The housing remains slim because of the 70 mm frame dimension, allowing the motor to fit into tight mechanical pockets on multi-axis machines.
The sensing hardware uses the ECN1113/1313 feedback type, which integrates an emitter, detector, and a single glass codewheel in a compact assembly.
