Kollmorgen’s AKM series of brushless synchronous servo motors provides both standard and co-engineered modifications to ensure a perfect fit with a wide range of industrial applications. The AKM family of motors features motors for use in harsh industrial environments, food packaging, explosive environments, among others. To address affordability and delivery time, AKM motors support the AKD series of servo drives to produce a complete servo system that meets the exact application specifications. Apart from being a crucial part of a servo system, Kollmorgen AKM motors have a high performance allowing them to handle a wide array of applications in the factory.

The Kollmorgen AKM33H-ANCNDA-00 is a brushless servo motor that is part of the AKM series. The motor has a frame size measuring 70 millimeters, an IEC-rated flange, and a smooth shaft. The AKM33H-ANCNDA-00 is supplied with standard factory customizations which do not include a holding brake. To allow for easy connections, the motor has angular connectors that are rotatable to accommodate any mounting direction. Note that the connectors are only allowed to be rotated before connections are made after which they should be left in a fixed position. Deploying the AKM33H-ANCNDA-00 on the industrial floor saves on maintenance costs because the motor’s ball bearings are greased to operate for their entire service life of 20000 operating hours.

To maintain the motor’s reliability even after an extended storage period, it should not be subjected to temperatures exceeding 55 degrees or falling below 25 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity ranging between 5 percent and 95 percent without condensation. For optimal performance, the AKM33H-ANCNDA-00 is designed to be operated in industrial environments with an ambient temperature ranging from 5 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.
