The Kollmorgen AKM series of servo motors has changed how applications on the factory floor are driven. By being flexible, motors in this family can meet the needs of a wide range of applications on the industrial floor. Where the standard features do not meet the requirements of a specific applications, these motors can be co-engineered to introduce the necessary modifications. AKM series motors are designed to be used with the Kollmorgen AKD series servo drives to improve performance while keeping the cost of a fully automated system low.
The AKM33H-ANCN1-00 is servo motor designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has an operating voltage rating of 320 Volts. The AKM33H-ANCN1-00 has a rated speed of 5500 revolutions per minute and a power rating of 1.3 Kilowatts. For optimal operation, the motor is designed to be mounted and operated in environments with a surrounding temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius and not falling below 5 degrees Celsius. The motor’s precise positioning is enabled by the presence of a commutating encoder with 1024 pulses per revolution. To facilitate connections to and from the motor, the AKM33H-ANCN1-00 features 0.5 meters shielded cable lead with connectors.
Note that this type of connectors reduces connection time and allow the motor to be mounted with the shaft facing any direction. The connectors have an international protection rating of IP 65. The AKM33H-ANCN1-00 has a smooth shaft, a NEMA-rated flange, and features internationally-recognized standard features. The motor is part of the Kollmorgen AKM series of synchronous servo motors. This family of motors includes motors designed for use in a wide range of industrial environments including, but not limited to, explosion-prone environments.
