Product Description:
The AKM33H-ANC2R-00 servo motor is produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. In industrial automation, it acts as the rotary actuator in closed-loop axes, converting drive commands into accurate torque and position for packaging lines, assembly cells, and similar equipment. That role makes it suitable for indexing, conveying, and synchronized positioning tasks in automated machinery. It is intended for motion systems that require repeatable starts, stops, and position correction during changing load conditions. Its compact housing helps simplify axis layouts and reduces the number of separate components mounted on the machine.
A built-in 24 V holding brake secures the load when power is removed, eliminating the need for external mechanical locks on vertical or suspended axes. Power and feedback cables connect through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, a keyed arrangement that helps prevent wiring errors and keeps cable routing orderly at the motor body. Rotor position is reported by a resolver, an inductive sensor that tolerates vibration and temperature variation. This type of feedback also performs well where electrical noise is present. The feedback system uses 2 poles for commutation. The stator stack fits inside a 70 mm square frame, allowing the motor to fit compact machine layouts and standard mounting spaces.
Mechanically, the output is a smooth shaft, which eases coupling to clamp hubs or press-fit pulleys without keyway alignment. The front face follows the IEC flange with accuracy N standard to support precise concentricity during assembly. Internal lamination length is identified by rotor length index 3, placing the motor in a mid-range torque class for its size. The winding code is H, matching drive settings intended for higher bus voltages. The motor is supplied in standard form without special coating or sealing changes, which keeps the configuration suitable for general industrial use.
