Product Description:
The AKM33H-ACCNR-01 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is intended to generate controlled torque and speed for axes in packaging machines, pick-and-place gantries, and other computer-controlled equipment used in industrial automation. By integrating a permanent-magnet rotor with precision feedback, the unit forms the electromechanical interface between a digital drive and the load. This arrangement allows the connected drive to regulate motion accurately during repeated starts, stops, and speed changes.
Two front-mounted 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors simplify quick-lock power and feedback cabling. A factory-installed shaft seal helps block lubricant migration into the stator chamber and supports use in sealed mechanical assemblies. Position information comes from a resolver, and its single-turn inductive feedback supports commutation in harsh environments. The feedback hardware uses size 10/15/21, which identifies the resolver package used on this motor. The motor is supplied without a brake, so holding torque must be provided by the drive or an external clamp during power-off conditions.
The mounting face follows the IEC with accuracy N pattern, and the square frame measures 70 mm across for compact machine layouts. Output power is transmitted through a cylindrical shaft with a keyway that helps secure pulleys or couplings against slippage during acceleration and deceleration. The motor uses an H winding, which indicates the electrical winding configuration used for drive matching and current selection. Rotor length index 3 sets the motor depth and provides a balanced relationship between continuous torque capability and moment of inertia. This layout helps the motor fit applications that need responsive motion without a large installation envelope.
