The AKM33E-ANCNDA-00 is a servo motor under the AKM series produced by Kollmorgen Company. It is specifically designed to be used together with SERVOSTAR amplifiers providing a system ideal for positioning tasks in industrial robotics, packaging, textile, and machine tools. It can only be commissioned and brought to performance as an integral part of an electric machine. Never connect it directly to the mains supply. The operator should operate it under the given ambient conditions of 95% humidity without condensation, 1000 meters installation elevation, and 5 to 40 degrees operating temperature range.
The transport and storage temperature range of the AKM33E-ANCNDA-00 is -25 to 70 degrees and 25 to 55 degrees respectively. During transportation avoid shock to the flange and end shaft. Use the locking thread provided by the manufacturer to tighten up couplings. The use of force will lead to shaft and bearings damage. Where possible, use backlash-free, frictionally locking couplings. Ensure correct alignment of the collets to mitigate unnecessary vibrations and damage to the coupling and bearings. Avoid axial load as it significantly shortens the life of the AKM33E-ANCNDA-00. There are several permitted mounting orientations which are IM B5 (shaft end, A-side), IM V1 (shaft end, downwards), and IM V3 (shaft end, upwards).
If orientation IM V3 is used, ensure that no liquids penetrate the bearings to avoid motor damage. If possible, use the recommended IM B5 orientation. It comes with an electrically isolated PTC and insulation material of class F to protect it from high temperatures. This Kollmorgen motor comes with ECN1X13 feedback, angular connectors and 0.5M shielded cable with IP65 connector. It comes with a smooth shaft, IEC flange, E winding type, and 70mm flange size.
