The AKM32D-ANCN2-00 is a synchronous motor from Kollmorgen that’s used for driving dynamic machine tools, transfer lines, and industrial engines. The AKM32D-ANCN2-00 has a flange sized 70mm and a 2048 PPR CamCoder fitted in place of the resolver. The CamCoder cannot be retrofitted. The Kollmorgen Motors provided with alternatives to the resolver, such as this CamCoder, output reduced rated data. The AKM32D-ANCN2-00 also has an increased motor length compared to the ones fitted with the resolver.

The motors are coated in matt black. Keep solvents like trichloroethylene away from the motor because the coat is not resistant against them. It should be used in temperatures below 40°C and 95 % relative humidity. If the ambient temperature where the motor will be used is above 40°C, seek guidance from Kollmorgen Motor’s application department. You need to put up measures to protect the motor from excess stress. This helps keep the components in good shape and also ensures the insulation clearances are intact.

The standard version AKM32D-ANCN2-00 is fitted with a smooth shaft where power is transmitted. It does not have a fitted keyway, but this can be mounted on request. You can choose to have your AKM32D-ANCN2-00 motor fitted with a holding brake. For these additional features to be added, you have to inform the manufacturer beforehand because they cannot be retrofitted. The 480V AKM32D-ANCN2-00 has a standstill torque of 2.04 M 0 [Nm] with a rated speed of 5,500 n n [min -1 ]. One important thing to note, Kollmorgen motors are not to be connected directly to the mains supply.
