Product Description:
The AKM32D-ANC2C-00 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It serves as a drive element for tightly coupled motion loops in automated assembly cells, labeling stations, and other processes that demand repeatable torque and speed. The motor operates as part of a servo axis, converting commanded current from a drive into mechanical rotation while feeding back rotor position to the controller. Its three-phase design supports smooth torque production in systems that require accurate acceleration, deceleration, and steady low-speed control during repetitive production cycles.
A factory-mounted 24 V holding brake secures the load during an emergency stop or power loss. Power and feedback conductors terminate on two SpeedTec Ready connectors, reducing installation time by eliminating keyed alignment. Inside the housing, feedback is provided through SFD feedback, and rotor angle is transmitted over 4 feedback lines to the drive. The motor uses the series-specific 70 mm frame format, giving a compact cross section that is compatible with IEC gearheads. This connector arrangement also supports a clean cable path at the motor housing.
The output shaft is a smooth shaft that accepts clamp couplings without keyways. Mounting is provided by an IEC flange with accuracy N, which allows direct attachment to precision gearheads while maintaining concentricity. The laminated core uses length index 2, adding active material for higher continuous torque. The stator uses winding D, which matches the drive's current scaling for efficient operation. Feedback hardware is single-turn and inductive in Size 10/15/21 format, so absolute position is available at power-up without batteries. The motor is supplied with the standard customization level, meaning standard materials and finishes are used.
