Internal Product Review
The AKM32D-ACMNC-00 is a Kollmorgen AKM synchronous servo motor built in a standard configuration. An SFD single-turn inductive feedback system gives the motor dependable position feedback for controlled servo operation. The keyway shaft supports secure coupling, making the unit an excellent fit for precise motion control.

Product Description:
The AKM32D-ACMNC-00 is a brushless synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This compact rotary unit provides closed-loop torque and velocity control for indexing tables, pick-and-place heads, packaging equipment, semiconductor tools, and other positioning axes used in industrial automation. Its permanent-magnet rotor and electronic commutation support responsive acceleration while maintaining accurate motion under changing loads. The compact housing also allows installation where mounting space is limited, such as small palletizers and tightly arranged machine assemblies.
The motor has a frame width of 70 mm, creating a compact square mounting face that mates with compatible machine housings. Its electromagnetic configuration uses winding code D, which establishes the phase resistance and voltage constant required by a compatible servo amplifier. An IEC flange with accuracy class N provides the concentricity needed for accurate coupling alignment without shims. The motor is supplied with no holding brake, so an external brake or drive-generated torque must secure the shaft when power is removed. Output torque passes through a solid steel shaft with a keyway, providing positive engagement with a pulley, gearbox, or rigid coupling. A rotor length index of 2 balances rotor inertia and peak torque for axes that undergo frequent acceleration and deceleration.
The feedback interface uses an SFD resolver-based system that sends digital position information to the connected drive. Communication takes place through four differential signal lines, which help preserve data integrity in electrically noisy industrial environments. The internal sensor provides single-turn inductive measurement, allowing the drive to determine rotor position within one mechanical revolution without an optical disk or mechanical gearing. Its inductive sensing method reduces the number of wear-sensitive components and supports reliable feedback during vibration and repeated speed changes. The feedback assembly follows the Size 10/15/21 mounting pattern and uses the corresponding connector orientation for this motor configuration. The model has the standard customization level, so its electrical and mechanical options follow the baseline arrangement available for this motor type.
