The AKM32D-ACCNR-00 is a very suitable platform for servo applications. The motor has a solid construction and is designed for extended service life. For the best performance, the motor can be operated in a broad temperature. Within a 5 ᵒC to 40 ᵒC temperature range, the performance parameters of the motor show no derating at all. Above this range (40 ᵒC to 50 ᵒC), the derating of currents and torques is only 1 % /K. The motor is enameled with black paint and has the IP 65 degree protection. With the provision of neodymium iron boron permanent magnets, the motor gives an unhindered performance in high-intensity environments.
The AKM32D-ACCNR-00 comes with the SERVOSTAR servo amplifiers for its servomechanism. This model has an inbuilt resolver. The closed-loop feedback is exercised by measuring the resolver’s position at each instant. By generating appropriate sinusoidal signals, the motor controls position, speed, and torque accurately. At a peak current of 8.9 A, the motor can produce a 7.05 Nm peak torque. With a moment of inertia of only 0.59 kgcm2, this motor is ideal for frequent and abrupt acceleration and deceleration. This feature makes this model very ideal for servo applications. The motor comes with a three-phase winding and the winding temperature is constantly monitored by temperature sensors installed in the stator windings.
