Product Description:
The AKM32D-ACCNC-00 is a synchronous servo motor built by Kollmorgen and positioned in the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a member of the AKM product family, it converts controlled drive current into precise rotary motion for indexing tables, feeder axes, and light-duty actuators. Its 70 mm frame keeps the package compact, and the permanent-magnet design supports the acceleration and repeatability required in automated production lines. The motor is suited to compact motion axes that need stable positioning and responsive speed control during frequent start-stop cycles.
This model is supplied without a brake, which reduces overall length and inertia when holding torque is provided elsewhere. Feedback is carried over 4 lines from the motor’s resolver-based sensor. The feedback arrangement is single-turn inductive, so the motor can report absolute position within one mechanical revolution after power-up. Torque is transmitted through a keyway, allowing compatible hubs or couplings to grip the shaft securely. Its electrical characteristics are intended for use with compatible mid-voltage servo drives. Because the motor has no holding device, any load that must stay in place at rest needs external holding torque.
Connection hardware consists of 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors that support quick-lock plugs and simplify cable attachment. The position loop relies on an SFD feedback system, with rotor information handled by size-coded electronics for feedback type Size 10/15/21. The mounting face uses IEC with accuracy N flange dimensions, which helps align the motor on metric machinery. The winding code is D, indicating an electrical variant matched to appropriate servo drive parameters. The rotor length index is 2, placing the motor in a balanced range of speed capability and torque density for this frame size. This arrangement supports compact installation while keeping cable routing straightforward.
