The AKM31C-ACCNR-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This compact rotary actuator converts drive current into controlled mechanical power for indexing tables, packaging axes, and other automation tasks that demand rapid acceleration and repeatable positioning. When paired with a digital drive and motion controller, it closes the feedback loop required for coordinated multi-axis systems and keeps cycle times short while maintaining commanded trajectories.
The motor is supplied without a brake, so holding position after power is removed requires drive torque or external clamps. Electrical terminations are handled through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, a paired plug set that shortens installation time and maintains EMC shielding. Position and velocity are monitored by a Resolver, whose sinusoidal signals tolerate high temperatures and electrical noise, and its housing follows the Size 10/15/21 profile common in Kollmorgen feedback devices.
