The AKM24D-BNBN2-00 is a servomotor under the AKM series manufactured by Kollmorgen Company. It comes with standstill current and torque of 2.21A and 1.41Nm respectively. The mains voltage is capped at 480V AC. It has a peak torque of 4.76Nm, peak current of 8.8A, and a torque constant of 0.63Nm/A. the mechanical data includes a 1.66kg weight, 11min thermal time constant, and 0.07Nm static friction torque. For optimal results, the motor should be operated in ambient conditions as indicated. Only people trained in electrical engineering and/or drive technology are to operate and commission this Kollmorgen servomotor.
The AKM24D-BNBN2-00 is engineered to be driven by a servoamplifier from the SERVOSTAR series. The combination is ideal for torque and speed control in industrial applications like machine tools. For it to operate, it should be installed as a component of an electrical apparatus or machine. The rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnetic material allows the servoamplifier to drive the motor dynamically. It comes in a brushless design owing to the servoamplifier that performs commutation electrically. The stand features of the AKM24D-BNBN2-00 include three mounting positions namely IM V3, IM V1, and IM B5. IM B5 is the standard mounting position.
It features an IP 65 protection category, class F insulation material, and meets vibration class N requirements. Some of the options that can be integrated include a keyway, holding brake, Comcoder, and radial shaft sealing rings.
