The AKM24C-ANCNR-00 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for installations with limited space, the unit supplies repeatable torque and speed for packaging, semiconductor, and pick-and-place machinery that requires accurate load positioning. It works with compatible servo drives that monitor resolver feedback and regulate the motor through a closed motion-control loop. This arrangement allows the axis to accelerate, decelerate, and hold its commanded position during automated production cycles.
The motor is supplied without a brake, so static holding force must come from the drive or an external clamp when the axis is stationary. Power and feedback lines enter through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, and each plug uses a quarter-turn locking mechanism for secure attachment. Position data is delivered by a resolver with a single-turn, inductive design, providing the absolute rotor angle within one mechanical revolution. The feedback system uses a two-pole arrangement to support closed-loop position and speed control. The stator uses winding pattern C, which provides the electrical characteristics associated with this motor configuration.
