The AKM23D-CKBNC-00 is a synchronous motor produced by Kollmorgen and is a highly suitable option for a wide range of servo applications. It has a brushless design that eliminates maintenance downtimes and ensures long operational life. The motor comes has an 8.8 A peak current and 3.84 Nm peak torque. The motor comes with the advantages that it can operate at multiple values of UN. At UN = 115 V, the motor’s rated speed, rated torque and rated power are 1500 rpm, 1.12 Nm and, 0.18 kW respectively. At UN = 230 V, the above-mentioned values change to 5000 rpm, 1.03 Nm and, 0.54 kW respectively. Similarly, at UN = 400 V, these values change to 8000 rpm, 0.92 Nm and 0.77 kW respectively.
The AKM23D-CKBNC-00 uses the rare earth neodymium iron boron magnetic material that allows for operation in environments where motion parameters are changing rapidly. During standstill mode, a standstill torque of 1.16 Nm can be applied to the motor’s output shaft.
