The AKM23D-BNCNR-00 is a synchronous brushless servomotor from Kollmorgen. It reaches temperatures of over 100°C during operation. The device must be allowed to cool to less than 40°C before touching when turned off after use. The locking thread provided with the unit must be used to tighten the pulley wheels, gear wheels or couplings. If the motor is mounted vertically with the shaft end upwards, care must be taken to ensure that no liquid gets into the upper bearings. The device is ideal for use in packaging and textile machinery, machine tools and industrial machines.
The servomotor must be used along with a compatible SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier from the manufacturer. The motor has a torque constant of 0.52Nm/A and a voltage constant of 33.8mVmin. The motor windings are integrated with a thermal contact. The stator is integrated with a three-phase winding. The device makes use of a resolver for feedback. The position of the resolver is evaluated by the servo amplifier. The resolver does not increase the length of the motor. The flange of the motor has a tolerance class of N. The unit comes with a one-year warranty.
The servomotor makes use of straight connectors at the ends of the cables for feedback and power supply signals. The resolver has a hollow shaft and two poles. The device has a winding resistance of 8.36 Ohms and a winding inductance of 17.3mH. The shaft end supports a radial load of 145N and an axial load of 60N when the motor operates at 5,000min-1 speed. The heavy current-carrying cables must have a cross-section in adherence to EN 60204 specifications. The motor must be provided with unhindered ventilation for operation.
