The AKM series by Kollmorgen offers light-weight DC servo motors that promise to deliver highly dynamic operation over a long period. These maintenance-free synchronous motors have neodymium-iron boron material to deliver the precise accuracy as needed by machine tools, industrial robots, and transfer lines. Combined with SERVOSTAR certified servo-amplifiers, the AKM servo motors offer smooth and stable performance. The AKM series is available in seven variations based on flange size (from 40 mm to 188 mm) covering a wide range of torque from 0.18 Nm to 53 Nm.
