The AKM23D-ACC2R-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen in the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. In service, it works with a compatible drive to convert commanded electrical input into controlled rotary motion for indexing, feed, and transfer functions. Because the feedback remains absolute within one turn, the controller can identify rotor angle immediately after startup for controlled motion recovery. Power is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway, allowing direct coupling with keyed hubs while maintaining positive torque transfer.
