The AKM23D-ACBNC-00 is a top-tier synchronous servomotor that features a standstill torque of 1.16Nm, standstill current of 2.19A, and a maximum mains voltage of 480 V AC. It comes with a rated speed of 8000min-1, rated torque of 0.92Nm, and a rated power of 0.77kW. The AKM motor boasts of 3.84Nm peak torque, 8.8A peak current, and a 0.52Nm/A torque constant. The permitted axial and radial load at the shaft end is 60N and 145N. If possible avoid applying the axial load as it significantly reduces the life span of the AKM23D-ACBNC-00 servomotor.
It features a D winding type, 3 rotor length, and a flange size of 58mm. an IEC flange, shaft with keyway, and a smart feedback device are some of its integral features. The AKM23D-ACBNC-00 can be mounted in the following three orientations. IM V3 (shaft end upwards), IM V1 (shaft end downwards) or IM B5 (shaft end side A). While all are recommended, the IM B5 is the basic mounting orientation. If the IM B5 is used a shaft bushing with a shaft-sealing ring is to be provided to prevent fluids from penetrating. This raises the protection category to IP 65.
The AKM23D-ACBNC-00 should only be transported, installed, and maintained by a trained person. Ensure the housing is properly earthed to the protective earth to avoid electric shock. Do not unplug any connection during operation as this might cause machine damage, fatal injuries, or death. When you use backlash-free coupling or collets, ensure that couplings are correctly aligned. Displacement often causes unnecessary vibration and destroys the bearing. This Kollmorgen motor should only be used in industrial applications such as robots and machine tools.
