The AKM22H-CKS2AD-02 is a brushless synchronous servo motor built by Kollmorgen and supplied in the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Serving as a compact rotary actuator, it converts drive current from a matched servo amplifier into controlled torque and speed for positioning tables, packaging axes, or pick-and-place heads in automated equipment. Integrated feedback channels allow the motion controller to regulate position and velocity, providing repeatable indexing and contouring across a range of production environments. Its compact design supports automated machinery where precise movement and limited installation space are important.
A 24 V holding brake keeps the shaft locked when power is removed, preventing load drift on vertical or suspended axes. The mounting face uses an alternative C flange with a bolt pattern that differs from the standard square arrangement. The motor has a 58 mm frame, which allows it to fit into compact gear stages while retaining adequate stator volume for heat dissipation. Output torque is transmitted through an open keyway on the shaft, providing positive engagement with pulleys, couplings, or gear wheels in servo transmissions.
