The AKM22G-ENMN2-00 is a brushless servo motor built by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a permanent-magnet rotary actuator, it works with a digital drive to deliver commanded torque, speed, and position in automated packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and small indexing tables. Its compact frame and integrated encoder enable rapid closed-loop control, allowing machine builders to replace pneumatic cylinders or stepper systems with equipment that provides greater accuracy and a faster dynamic response.
The motor has a frame dimension of 58 mm, allowing it to fit inside compact mechanical modules. The output end uses a smooth shaft, so zero-backlash clamps or adhesive couplings can be mounted without a keyseat. The unit is supplied without a brake, so static load retention must be provided by the drive or external mechanics. Position feedback is generated by a Comcoder that transmits incremental and absolute signals.
