The AKM22E-ANM2R-00 is a brushless synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop speed and position control, the unit interfaces with compatible Kollmorgen drives to actuate packaging machinery, assembly robots, and indexing tables. Its compact form and low rotor inertia support rapid acceleration while maintaining precise torque delivery in industrial automation applications that require repeatable motion and high cycle rates.
This model is supplied with a 24 V holding brake, allowing vertical or suspended loads to remain fixed when the drive is disabled. A smooth shaft transmits torque to clamping couplings without a keyway, helping reduce vibration at high speeds. The square housing measures 58 mm across, allowing the motor to mount directly to compatible gearheads and mechanical frames. Position feedback is provided by a resolver that generates analog sine-cosine signals with strong resistance to electrical noise. The resolver uses 2-pole excitation to measure rotor position across the operating speed range.
