The AKM22E-ANBNR-00 is an AKM series brushless DC asynchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen. The manufacturer is recognized worldwide for its different categories of motors that meet almost any requirement. The device must be used along with a compatible SERVOSTAR series digital servo amplifier. It can be subject to a maximum of 145N radial load or 60N radial load at 5000 min-1 speed at shaft end. The standard unit has a winding type of E, a rotor length of 2 and a flange size of 2 or 58mm. The locking thread provided must be used to warm the drive components as well as to tighten pulley wheels, couplings or gear wheels. The motor has a warranty period of one year.
The motor couplings must be properly aligned to avoid unacceptable vibrations and destruction of bearings and couplings. The motor is designed for drives deployed in machine tools, industrial robots and packing or textile machinery. It must be installed as a component for electrical machines or apparatus. The device should never be connected directly to the mains supply. The unit comprises a smooth shaft and a flange designed as per IEC specifications. The synchronous motor has a rated power of 0.30kW and a rated speed of 3,500min-1 at 115V.
The motor can work up to 95% relative humidity without condensation at rated values. The device can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The unit experiences high radial forces if it is driven by toothed belts or pinions. It may tend to oscillate if the amplifier gain is very high or the shield of the resolver cable is broken. The device will not rotate when the motor phases are in the wrong sequence or when the servo amplifier is not enabled.
