Product Description:
The AKM21C-ESB2C-02 is a special product from AKM series of brushless servomotors produced by Kollmorgen. It has shield that is firmly connected to the metallic cover. The shield has a dimension of (7 x 2 x 0.25) mm² connected to several rounded poles. The resolver of this servomotor has a dimension of 74.6 mm2, 86.2 mm2 and 129.5 mm2 in the x, y and z directions respectively. The AKM21C-ESB2C-02 has comcoder with 2048 PPR rating and 24V holding brake.
The shaft of AKM21C-ESB2C-02 is mounted upward to prevent the seepage of liquids into it. Environmental factors were considered in the design of AKM21C-ESB2C-02. Its ambient temperature must be maintained at 40oc and its winding temperature should be at 100K. This is to ensure that the component does not overheat, thereby affecting the functionality of the motor. The cables of AKM21C-ESB2C-02 are properly insulated with polyesteraphtalate to separate the conductors from each other and to also avoid shock. It has a rated speed and rated torque of 2500 rpm and 0.46Nm respectively at a nominal voltage of 115V. Its shaft can only permit a radial and axial loads at 5000 rpm. The AKM21C-ESB2C-02 winding inductance of 19mH is capable of storing huge amount of electrical energy for use. It has resolver connection with 12 round poles mounted on a strong cable of diameter 0.5m.
The AKM21C-ESB2C-02 is packaged with recyclable materials so as to keep the environment clean. It is designed with durable ball bearings which can last for a very long time before replacement is being made. However, it should be noted that ball bearings should be changed after 20,000 hours of usage.
