The AKM13D-BNSNR-02 synchronous servomotor is one of the several AKM series of motors from Kollmorgen. The servomotor is equipped with rare magnets made of a combination of neodymium, iron, and boron in its rotor. These magnets make the motor suitable for use in highly dynamic environments. The motor is fitted with a nameplate and comes with an inbuilt resolver as the standard feedback element. The position of the resolver is analyzed by a SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier. The stator is integrated with a three-phase winding. The DC brushless motor has a one-year warranty period.

The stator windings encompass temperature sensors that monitor the temperature of the windings. The motor has 95% relative permissible humidity without condensation. It also has 1%/K power derating between 40°C and 50°C. The unit must be installed at a maximum height of 1,000 meters above sea level.
