Product Description:
The AKM13C-BNMN1-00 is a versatile synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen. The motor must be driven by an AKD servo drive under speed and/or torque control. The device is intended for drives for equipment with high requirements for dynamics and stability, including industrial robots, machine tools, and textile and packing machinery. The servomotor comes with C winding type and a smooth shaft. The product has ball bearings that should be replaced after 20,000 operating hours under rated conditions. The AKM servomotor does not have a holding brake and retrofitting of the brake is not possible. The standstill torque of the device is 0.41 Nm and its standstill current is 1.48 A. The unit has a peak current of 5.93 A and a peak torque of 1.46 Nm. The thermal time constant of the motor is 7 minutes. The radial load permitted at the shaft end of the device at 8000 per minute is 30 N. The maximum bus voltage rating of the product is 320 VDC. The servomotor features a comcoder with 1024 PPR feedback system. It has a 0.5m shielded cable with IP20 connectors. It is important to ensure that the AKM servomotor housing is safely earthed to the PE busbar in the switch cabinet. Low-resistance earthing is required for personal protection. There is a risk of severe injury or death from electric shock. The absence of optical displays does not mean that there is an absence of voltage. Even if the motor shaft is not rotating, power connections may carry voltage. The capacitors in the servo drive can still carry a dangerous voltage a few minutes after turning off the supply voltages. To ensure safety, the user should measure the DC-link voltage and wait until the voltage has dropped below 40 V.
Frequently Asked Questions about AKM13C-BNMN1-00:
