Product Description:
The AKM13C-ANCNR-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop motion control, the unit converts drive current into accurate rotary motion for small actuators, feeders, and laboratory equipment where high positional repeatability is required. Its compact design supports installation in space-constrained automated cells while maintaining responsive acceleration and consistent motion. The motor can be paired with a compatible servo drive to regulate torque, speed, and position as operating loads change.
The motor’s active section has a frame dimension of 40 mm, giving it a narrow profile that fits inside tight mechanical spaces. Its output interface uses a smooth shaft, allowing direct attachment to clamping couplings without keyways or splines. Power and feedback signals enter through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, which use quarter-turn locking threads to simplify cable attachment. Rotor position is sensed with a resolver, a magnetic feedback element that tolerates high shock and supports analog signal interpolation at the drive. The unit is supplied without a brake, so an external holding mechanism is required when a stationary load must remain secured after motor power is removed. The absence of a brake also prevents brake-related drag torque during rapid indexing.
Alignment with gearboxes and load frames is provided by an IEC flange with accuracy N. The internal stator uses winding designation C to match the electrical characteristics required by compatible Kollmorgen drives in low-voltage systems. The magnetic circuit has 2 poles, supporting the motor’s electrical commutation pattern during rotation. The feedback device supplies single-turn inductive position data and remains unaffected by contaminants that could interfere with optical sensing. Its sensor assembly follows the Size 10/15/21 format, while a rotor length index of 3 balances torque output and rotor inertia. The motor has the standard customization level and does not include application-specific modifications.
