Product Description

The AKD2G-SPE-7V06D-A100-0000-ASERVO Kollmorgen servo drive can be used only with a three-phase 240 VAC, 400 VAC or 480 VAC industrial power supply network. This product must incorporate either a doubled protective earth connection or a PE connection with a connecting cable having more than 10 sq-mm cross-section. The device settings can be adjusted using the WorkBench software. This unit related equipotential bonding, radiation-reducing shields and grounding should remain intact all the time. It is to be connected with filters and external regen resistors using only shielded cables with an adequate cross-section as per IEC 60204 standards. The drive is connected with the regen resistor and the DC bus at its X3A and X3B connectors. This product must not have a periodic overvoltage of 1000 Vpeak between its phases and housing. The device is compatible with Class J US fuses or gS or gG type EU fuses. This unit along with other servo drives can be connected to a common DC bus link using a parallel connection. It has the ability to safeguard the connected motor against overloading. The drive is equipped with two axes. This product has two STO related inputs and outputs. The device controls a 24 V holding brake of the connected motor. This unit portrays the faults and codes encountered during operation on its LCD display. Its STO function switches off the power output stage which powers the motor. The drive is CE Certified, TUV Approved, RoHS Compliant and cULus Listed. This product comes fitted with the required mating connectors. The device operation must never take place with the doors of its control cabinet open. This unit tends to have a very high temperature during operation with the heatsink temperature rising over 80 °C. It must be ensured that the drive is connected to the right motor to avoid damage to the system. The drive should at no time be touched when it is in use.
