The AKD-P01206-NBCC-1000 Ethernet servo drive is an efficient and versatile digital servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen. The drive uses the WorkBench software to support its operation. The unit is compact, robust, and comes with industry-leading power density. The device features EtherCAT and CANopen connectivity options, various bus choices, several feedback devices, and added options. The drive can be used in single-phase and triple-phase networks between 120 V and 240 V. The unit comes with a warning stating that it must be serviced only seven minutes after disconnecting it from the main power supply. The AKD servo drive’s continuous output power is 4000 W. Before using the product, it must be checked for signs of damage or defect. The weight of the drive is 2 kg, its height is 196 mm and its depth is 187 mm. The bandwidth of its current controller is 2 to 3 kHz, the bandwidth of its velocity controller is 0 to 800 Hz, and the bandwidth of its position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The power section of the unit has a DC bus link voltage that ranges between 170 VDC and 340 VDC. The basic tools needed to install the servo drive are M4 hexagon socket-cap screws, a No.2 Phillips head screwdriver, a 3 mm T-handle Allen key, and a small-slotted screwdriver. In general, the device does not require any maintenance. However, if needed, only the manufacturer can clean the inside of the unit. Avoid immersing or spraying the device. Liquid should not enter the drive. For safety in case of emergencies, the drive is equipped with Emergency Stop and Emergency Off functions. Use the Emergency Stop function to quickly shut down the device and the Emergency Off function to switch off the electrical power supply.
