The AKD-P00606-NBAN-0123 servo drive from the house of Kollmorgen is a position indexer drive with analog connectivity option. The unit can be enabled using the setup wizard of the WorkBench software. The device must not be started or operated without a proper grounding connection. The drive is intended to be adapted to the requirements of the machine or device in which it is installed. The product’s continuous output power is 2000 Watts and its current rating is 6 Arms. The drive’s switching frequency of the output stage is 10 kHz. The bandwidth of the current controller is 2.5 to 4 kHz, the bandwidth of the velocity controller is 0 to 1000 Hz, and the bandwidth of the position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The PE block of the unit supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. The servo drive does not have an internal regen resistor and if required, an external resistor can be connected. The unit has a continuous regen power of 1.5 kW for its external resistor. The servo drive should be handled carefully in many circumstances. Its use is prohibited in several environments, such as potentially explosive areas exposed to corrosive or electrically conductive acids, vapors, oils, and alkaline solutions. The device should not be opened by the user. Opening the drive for cleaning voids the warranty. The inside of the drive should be cleaned only by the manufacturer. Avoid immersing or spraying on the device. Care should be taken that no liquid enters the unit. The drive has an Emergency Stop function to shut it down quickly in a dangerous situation and an Emergency Off function to turn off the electrical power supply.
