The AKD-N01207-DFEC-E000 Kollmorgen servo drive is classified as a decentralized servo drive. This drive has a local tertiary fieldbus interface at the X6 port apart from the standard EtherCAT and I/O connectivity options. The product can be associated with different types of feedback. This device related parameters can be set up using the WorkBench software. The unit setup involves connecting the motor power and feedback to the X2 and X10 ports respectively. It shows the d9 code on its display when its firmware starts downloading. This drive cannot communicate with the PC if it is disconnected from the WorkBench software. The product supports the use of an SD card to save or load data when it is associated with the I/O connectivity option. This device related operating voltage can be selected through the Power screen of WorkBench for working on 240 VAC input supplies. The unit configures the parameters of the motor automatically from the data that is stored in any of the supported feedback devices when the motor autoset parameter is ON in the Motor screen of the software. This servo drive supports many feedback options among which some of them can serve as both primary and secondary feedback. It is designed such that it supports fast and effective cleaning. The product has a compact size of 5 x 130 x 252mm? which ensures it does not take up much space. This device related fieldbus has a two-cable feedback. The unit can be used along with a centralized drive. It helps in minimizing costs because of the reduced cabling. The drive must incorporate slip-ring assemblies if it is to be mounted on a rotary table. The product can be installed outside a control cabinet.
