The AKD-N00307-DSEC-E000 is a near servo drive that is a registered trademark of Kollmorgen Automation. The drive is exclusively manufactured to ensure the efficiency of compatible servo motor designs; it provides reliable closed-loop control of torque, speed, and position. The drive works as a part of electrical plants and should only function as an integral component of such systems. Only Kollmorgen CCx hybrid cable series should be used for the wiring of this servo drive design. Also, the power supply to this motor should be done by the AKD-C power supply from Kollmorgen, which is able to supply between 55 to 800 volts of direct current. Although this drive has found use in several industries all over the world, it should not be used for driving elevators, in ships or offshore applications, and in applications that produce continuous operational short circuits to the motor power contact.
The AKD-N00307-DSEC-E000 servo drive is delivered in a packaging made from recyclable cardboard and with inserts and a label attached to the box for easy identification. The package delivered for this drive includes four mounting clamps, a printed copy of the product manual, two connector covers, and a DVD containing the setup software. Also, extreme shocks should be avoided during the transportation of this product. The AKD-N00307-DSEC-E000 is a maintenance-free device; opening the enclosure of the drive for any reason will void the warranty covering it. However, the product's outer unit can be cleaned to prevent dust buildup on the drive during operation.
The AKD-N00307-DSEC-E000 motor has been tested and certified to meet the UL/cUL standards, it is also CE certified. The heatsink and connection cable used with this product are not delivered with it; these are to be separately ordered by operators if they are required.
