The AKD-B01206-NBS9-0000 base Ethernet servo drive is a reliable and versatile servo drive from the house of Kollmorgen. It is one of the fastest servo drives, characterized by the most precise motion and the best output. The drive features plug-and-play compatibility with Kollmorgen motors. The unit should be installed only in industrial plants that follow the complete regional directives related protocol. Extreme precaution should be exercised when transporting the unit; transporting must be done without subjecting the drive to shocks. The continuous output power of the AKD servo drive is 4000 Watts and its current rating is 12 Arms. The unit has a floating relay contact to indicate its operational readiness. The drive displays fault message codes with either an F prefix or an E prefix depending on the severity. Its rotary switches can be used to set the DHCP IP and static IP when the 24 V supply is off. This drive related operating and position control blocks can be set up by using the WorkBench software on a PC and connecting its service interface to the Ethernet interface of the PC. The testing and setup of the device must be done only by personnel with expertise in the field. The AKD servo drive must be mounted in a closed control cabinet and the site must be free from conductive or corrosive materials. If the motor or amplifier is not EMC-grounded properly, there is a risk of electrical shock. Non-conductive mounting plates must not be used. In the case of unfavorable circumstances, a copper mesh tape should be used between the earthing bolts and earth potential in order to deflect currents.
