The Kollmorgen AKD series of drives have completely changed how motors are controlled on the factory floor. By having the best of Kollmorgen’s servo components, these drives are capable of providing industry-leading communication options, performance, and power levels. With their intuitive graphical user interface, Kollmorgen AKD drives are easy to troubleshoot and program. Programming the drive is done through parameters allowing the drive to be interfaced with a wide range of motors on the factory floor. AKD drives have a compact design thus saving on space. The drives support option cards to boost their processing speed and add the number of Inputs and Outputs.

The Kollmorgen AKD-B00606-NBSQ-0000 is a servo drive in the AKD series. For added dependability, the drive offers temperature, current and overvoltage detection functionalities. The drive is capable of reaching optimal performance when operated in an environment with a temperature of between 40.0 degrees Celsius and 0.0 degrees Celsius. Having an international protection rating of IP 20, the AKD-B00606-NBSQ-0000 is designed to be operated inside a control cabinet preferably with an international protection rating of IP 54. This ensures the drive is guarded against dust and water splashes from all directions.

The AKD-B00606-NBSQ-0000 supports the Kollmorgen WorkBench setup software via TCP/IP and supports the SynqNet connectivity option. This connectivity option offers maximum servo performance and flexibility when the drive is interfaced with demanding motion systems. By supporting an input voltage of between 120 and 240 Volts, the AKD-B00606-NBSQ-0000 can comfortably fit into the existing power supply network on the factory floor. The drive is approved by Underwriters Laboratories and other reputable international bodies allowing the drive to be used in a global scale.
