The AKD-T02406-ICAN-0000 Ethernet-based servo drive by Kollmorgen is a digital drive. This product features easy programming and troubleshooting with the WorkBench software. The device has an analog connectivity option. The unit provides a Base drive with simple BASIC programmability. It is also termed as an AKD BASIC drive. This drive comprises a standard width housing and has no scope for extension. The product features support for HIPERFACE, BiSS and EnDat 2.1 & 2.2 protocols. This device is fitted with a power section with a regen circuit to distribute the power generated dynamically among multiple drives on a DC bus link circuit. The drive can be connected to a single-phase or a three-phase industrial supply network. This unit supports the inclusion of an external regen resistor of the same resistance as the integrated internal regen resistor. It is necessary to incorporate appropriate creepage/insulation distances as well as electrical isolation for safe electrical separation as per IEC 61800-5-1 specifications between the motor or power input connectors and the signal electronics. The servo drive has two programmable digital outputs. This product features Class 3M1 vibrations in accordance with IEC 60721-3-3 specifications. The device has high velocity and torque bandwidths. This unit comprises a compact and robust design and is associated with high versatility. It has a depth of 228 mm without connectors. The drive has four buffers that are not loaded by default. This product uses its SubD 15-pin HD female X10 connector for connection with most types of feedback devices. The device and the related motor are connected to each other using a shielded cable. This unit uses a cable with 14 AWG cross-section for connecting an external regen resistor and the DC bus link.
