The AKD-T00307-ICAN-0000 Ethernet BASIC servo drive launched by Kollmorgen should be operated only in industrial environments. The drive must be installed only in a machine or plant that strictly adheres to the regional directives related requirements. The unit weight is 2.7 kg and its height with connectors is <225 mm and without connectors is 185 mm. The product must have unimpeded ventilation and it should be operated in the ambient temperature range between 0 °C and 40 °C. The installation of the drive must be done in a site that is free of conductive or corrosive materials. The unit has a warning note indicating that it must be serviced only seven minutes after turning off the power supply. The continuous output power of the servo drive is 2000 Watts. Its update rate is 1.5 MHz. The unit comes with an internal regen resistor with a rating of 33 Ohms. It is possible to connect an external resistor as well if required. The AKD servo drive features a grounding plate and all the required mating connectors. The drive should be connected only using the cables supplied by the manufacturer. The unit features a related DC bus link voltage that ranges between 340 V and 680 V. The drive features a rated output current of 3 A with +/-3% RMS value. The device has a safety function STO (Safe Torque Off). The STO uses its internal electronics to secure the unit in standstill mode. There is also a Stop function that is used to shut down the servo drive during normal operation.
