Product Description:
The AKD-P04807-NBEC-0000 Kollmorgen position indexer servo drive is customized as per USA Standard. This product supports an EtherCAT connectivity option. The device has no extension option and is associated with a standard width housing. This unit should be mounted in a control cabinet with good connections between them. Its grounding must not be established with mounting bolts or hinges. The drive must use feedback cables of the manufacturer specified material for maximum length and with cross-sections as per IEC 60204 specifications. This unit can be connected with filters and external regen resistors using only shielded cables. The drive is connected to the external 24 VDC supply at its X1 connector through an isolating transformer. It should be used with a mains choke when the mains voltage symmetry is more than 3%. This product along with other drives of the same type connected in parallel to the DC bus link should not have a total rating of greater than 96 A. The device is to be worked on only when it has no connection to the power supply. This unit can be connected with a Kollmorgen Capacitor Module using a cable of maximum 500 mm length and with maximum 6 sq-mm cross-section. Its power output forms an oscillating circuit with the motor winding and motor supply cable. The servo drive controls the 24 V holding brake in the connected motor. The product associated auxiliary voltage and brake voltage supply are separated from each other. This device related feedback functions are assigned parameters for operation through WorkBench. The unit works like a slave drive when it is connected to an EtherCAT network. It has no plug-and-play support for a resolver connection for feedback.
