Product Description:
The AKD-P04807-NBCN-0000 position indexer servo drive by Kollmorgen has a CANopen fieldbus interface. This product installation is supposed to be done by people qualified in electrical engineering. The device is prone to damage with a wrong mains voltage. This unit is not designed for operation in residential areas. Its WorkBench software helps in changing its parameter settings. The product must be connected to the main electrical supply only after other connections such as digital control inputs and outputs, analog ground, feedback device and more. The device can be connected with an external regen resistor only after providing it with the required fusing. This drive wiring must be done only when it is not in the live state. The unit has to be provided with an electrically conductive connection for its grounding with the largest possible surface area between the mounting plate and the drive. Its wiring must be done in accordance with the wiring diagram provided by the manufacturer. This product can be connected to an industrial PC using a Cat. 5 Ethernet cable. The device uses its X9 connector for second or additional feedback and encoder emulation. This unit has empty buffers that can be loaded with up to 128 characters in each buffer. The servo drive current can perform multiple functions with its digital inputs. Its digital outputs support various modes based on the function. This product portrays a high signal for the output mode of its digital output when a fault is encountered. The device has one dedicated input for the Enable function and cannot be changed by the user. This unit performs latching functions with its two rapid digital inputs. Its Enable signal can be activated only if the STO inputs have a 24 V signal.
