Product Description:
The AKD-P02407-NBCN-0058 servo drive from Kollmorgen features an Ethernet/IP connectivity option. This product has a rated supply voltage of 3 x 240 to 480 VAC with +/-10%. The device houses an 8 A time-delay fuse for its external 24 V supply. This unit features a DC bus connection at its X14 terminal connector with three poles. It activates the brake chopper to store the returned energy in the regen resistor after the bus capacitor voltage has been built up to the desired level. The drive has a special time for switching the output stage on and off when its holding brake function is activated. This product is secured in standstill mode using its internal electronics with the STO functional safe function. The device has an easy setup process because of the intuitive graphical user interface of the WorkBench software. This unit behavior whenever a fault arises is based on the fault type and how several parameters have been set. It may cause serious injury if its load is not properly blocked. The servo drive gives priority to the Stop function over the assigned Start functions. This product incorporates an Emergency Off function that is activated to cut off the electrical power supply to the machine. The device is brought to a safe stop by braking it in a controlled manner and disabling the drive when the speed is nil followed by activation of the STO function. This unit must undergo a test of its STO function when any of its components have been changed. It has a leakage current through the PE conductor as a result of the combination of cable and equipment leakage currents.
