The AKD-P02406-NBPN-0000 servo drive offered by Kollmorgen is supported by a firmware that can be downloaded from WorkBench for its operation. This product shows the dL code during the firmware download process. The drive gets reset and its old firmware is erased during the download process. This product comes equipped with the ability to make decisions. The device is in compliance with the noise immunity requirements of the second environmental category when external filters are used for noise emission and the motor cable is less than 10 meters in length. This unit supports operation only in machinery that complies with the EC Machinery, EC EMC and EC Low Voltage directives. The servo drive does not use any hazardous substances for the design of any of its components. Its connection with a PROFINET network is established through the RJ-45 style X11 connector with two inbuilt LEDs. This product has a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask. The device has one analog input that is used to generate the converted analog values of digital measurements. This unit features a -3dB bandwidth of more than 8 kHz for its analog output. Its analog output can be associated with any of the pre-programmed functions included in WorkBench. The drive has one differential analog input that can control its analog position, velocity or torque. This product supports the connection of the encoder emulation output of a second drive to its incremental encoder input at the X9 connector. The device can be connected to the controller of a stepper motor and the number of pulses can be adjusted to match the stepper controller. This unit also offers connection support to a third-party controller rendering 5 V CW/CCW signals.
