Product Description:
The AKD-P01207-NBEI-0000 Kollmorgen servo drive is one of the manufacturer’s AKD family of servo drives. This product has an Ethernet/IP connectivity option. The device must not be used without a control cabinet. This unit is designed to support only vertical mounting orientation. It should be operated by qualified personnel who have read and understood the contents of its manual. The drive installation can be done only in a machine for which appropriate risk assessments have been done. This product assembly and installation should be executed by electrically qualified personnel. The device needs to be checked that its heatsink has cooled down and has a temperature lower than 40 °C before touching it. This drive can be connected to only a motor that has reinforced insulation for its thermal sensors, feedback systems and holding brakes. The unit is intended to drive synchronous servomotors with closed loop control of position, speed and/or torque. It can be deployed only in three-phase industrial supply networks with maximum 200 kA symmetrical rated current at 240 V, 400 V and 480 V. This product will have to be fitted with an isolating transformer if it is connected to supply networks with other voltage types. The device should be reviewed and evaluated for parameters like overvoltage, system dielectric requirements, fuse protection and more before it is used for group installations. The drive can trigger equipment damage and/or personnel injury if it is not used as intended. Its integrated EMC filter will not work when the drive is associated with a DC supply voltage. This product comprises several components that are sensitive to electrostatic charge. The device casing can be cleaned using cleaning agents like isopropanol.
