These drives are plug-and-play compatible, minimizing the amount of time it takes to interface the drives with Kollmorgen motors. AKD drives support smart feedback devices, BiSS, EnDat2.2, EnDat2.1, Analog Sine/Cos encoder, resolver, among other feedback devices. Kollmorgen AKD drives support the WorkBench interface software allowing them to be easily setup and programmed through a graphical user interface. With wizard-based autotuning and real-time performance feedback functionalities, AKD drives are easy to setup and monitor.

The Kollmorgen AKD-P01207-NBCN-0081 is a servo drive in the AKD series. The drive is built to be used with single axis and multi axis systems with a high performance. With a digital signal processor, Kollmorgen AKD drives can reliably handle repeatable steps. To boost processing power, the AKD-P01207-NBCN-0081 supports option cards. Note that option cards are used to add NVRAM and increase the Inputs and Outputs. For optimum performance, AKD drives feature parameters to set, among other things, current DC bus voltage, over voltage fault level, undervoltage fault level, operating voltage, regen resistor type, regen power, and regen resistor power fault level.

The AKD-P01207-NBCN-0081 has a continuous output power rating of 8000 Watts and designed to be operated with an operating voltage of either 240 Volts AC or 480 Volts AC. The drive’s control logic supports a voltage of 24 Volts. With a weight of 2.7 Kilograms and a height of 256 millimeters, the AKD-P01207-NBCN-0081 can easily be mounted on a wide range of surfaces on the industrial floor eliminating the need for specialized and expensive mounting devices.
