The AKD-P01207-NBAN-0000 servo drive is produced by Kollmorgen within the AKD Servo Drives series. As a compact AC drive stage, it interfaces between a three-phase mains supply and a brushless servo motor to regulate torque, velocity, and position in automated machinery such as pick-and-place gantries, packaging axes, or indexing tables. Its integrated control electronics close the current loop at high bandwidth, allowing precise motion control without external amplifiers. This arrangement lets the drive convert incoming AC power into controlled motor current for smooth acceleration, stable speed regulation, and repeatable stopping behavior.

The drive is supplied in the Standard USA configuration, so its labeling, fusing, and EMC filters conform to North American installation practices. Internally it uses the Position Indexer function, so point-to-point moves can be executed from stored motion profiles without a supervisory controller generating every trajectory. Command and feedback signals are handled through an Analog interface that accepts ±10 V velocity or torque references and provides matching scaled outputs, which suits retrofit applications where digital fieldbuses are not present. Scaled analog outputs can also be used to pass reference or monitoring signals to surrounding control hardware.
