The AKD-P01207-NACN-0060 is a digital servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen and supplied within the AKD Servo Drives series. It is intended to command brushless servo motors in machine tools, packaging lines, and material-handling axes. The unit converts three-phase mains power into regulated output voltage and torque commands while monitoring motor feedback. By combining motion control and power electronics in one housing, the drive supports deterministic positioning and helps reduce cabinet space in industrial automation systems.
The drive uses the Position Indexer version, so target positions and motion profiles can be entered directly into the unit without an external PLC interpolation layer. Communication with supervisory controllers is handled over CANopen, which provides standardized PDO mapping and device-profile parameters. Under continuous S1 duty, the power section supplies 12 Arms to the motor phases for steady torque production with medium-frame actuators.
